Matt Vettese is a content creator and former radio host with over a decade of experience in the Canadian radio industry. His passion for music started early, growing up in the emo, punk, and hardcore scenes, attending shows as young as 14 and immersing himself in the culture that would later shape his career.
Driven by a desire to share music and connect people through it, Matt got into radio to amplify the artists and sounds he loved. That same spirit led to the creation of OurSpace Media, a platform built to spotlight alternative music, stories, and the community around it.
For over two years, Matt has hosted OurSpace with Matt Vettese, where he’s interviewed some of the most influential names in the scene, including Sleeping With Sirens, The Academy Is…, Free Throw, Story of the Year, Hawthorne Heights, and more. Through thoughtful conversations and a genuine love for the genre, he continues to give fans a deeper connection to the artists they care about.
